SUBMISSION TERMS

Last Updated: July 20, 2026

Hartwell Creative Agency LLC (“Hartwell,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) welcomes inquiries and submissions in accordance with these Submission Terms. Please read these terms carefully before submitting any materials to Hartwell.

By submitting materials to Hartwell through our website, email, submission form, or other authorized method, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Your Submission

You represent that you are the owner of, or have the necessary rights and authority to submit, all materials you provide to Hartwell, including manuscripts, proposals, treatments, pitch materials, concepts, artwork, and other creative materials (collectively, “Submission Materials”).

You represent that your submission does not knowingly infringe upon or violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

2. Ownership of Your Materials

You retain ownership of your Submission Materials. Submission of materials to Hartwell does not, by itself, transfer any copyright, ownership interest, or other intellectual property rights to Hartwell.

Any acquisition, option, license, development, packaging, representation, or other rights concerning your Submission Materials will be subject to a separate written agreement, if applicable.

3. No Guarantee of Acceptance or Representation

Submitting materials to Hartwell does not guarantee that Hartwell will review, develop, package, represent, acquire, or otherwise become involved with your project.

A submission does not create an agency, representation, partnership, joint venture, employment, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and Hartwell.

Any formal engagement with Hartwell will be established through a separate written agreement.

4. No Confidential Relationship

Unless Hartwell has entered into a separate written confidentiality or nondisclosure agreement with you, Submission Materials will not be received or reviewed on a confidential basis.

By submitting materials, you acknowledge that your submission does not create a confidential or fiduciary relationship between you and Hartwell.

Please do not submit materials that you are not comfortable providing on this basis.

5. Similar or Independently Developed Materials

You acknowledge that Hartwell may currently be developing, reviewing, representing, or considering projects, concepts, themes, characters, subject matter, or materials that are similar to your Submission Materials.

You understand that similarities may arise independently and that Hartwell's receipt of your Submission Materials does not prevent Hartwell from working with or developing other projects that may contain similar ideas, themes, concepts, formats, or subject matter, provided that Hartwell does not unlawfully copy or use your legally protected material.

6. No Obligation to Review or Respond

Hartwell is under no obligation to review, evaluate, retain, return, or respond to any Submission Materials.

Hartwell may decline or discontinue consideration of a submission at any time and for any reason.

Please retain copies of all materials you submit. Hartwell is not responsible for lost, deleted, damaged, or otherwise unavailable Submission Materials.

7. Submission Does Not Grant Hartwell Development Rights

Your submission gives Hartwell permission to receive and internally review your Submission Materials for the purpose of determining whether Hartwell may be interested in discussing a potential professional relationship or opportunity with you.

Except for this limited review purpose, your submission does not grant Hartwell the right to publish, sell, license, produce, adapt, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit your Submission Materials without a separate agreement granting such rights.

8. Third-Party Materials

If your Submission Materials incorporate or are based upon material owned or controlled by another person or entity, you represent that you have obtained any permissions necessary for you to submit those materials to Hartwell for consideration.

9. Submission Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit materials to Hartwell unless a parent or legal guardian submits or provides appropriate authorization on your behalf.

10. Changes to These Submission Terms

Hartwell reserves the right to modify these Submission Terms at any time. Changes will become effective when posted on our website, as indicated by the updated “Last Updated” date.

11. Governing Law

These Submission Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any specific governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions contained in a separate written agreement between you and Hartwell will control with respect to that agreement.

12. Acknowledgment

By submitting materials to Hartwell, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Submission Terms.
